The Role

We are seeking a Tax Director to provide firm-wide leadership in the tax practice, drive strategic growth initiatives, and ensure the highest level of service delivery. This position involves oversight of tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for an extensive client base while serving as a mentor to the tax team and contributing to the firm's vision for success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the firm's tax practice, setting strategic goals and ensuring operational excellence.
Oversee and manage complex tax compliance and planning engagements for business and individual clients.
Develop and implement innovative tax strategies tailored to client needs.
Build and sustain trusted client relationships, ensuring a client-centric approach to service delivery.
Provide guidance and mentorship to tax managers and senior managers, supporting professional growth.
Identify opportunities for business development, firm growth, and cross-functional collaboration.
Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes, adapting the practice accordingly.
Represent the firm at industry events and in the broader business community.

Qualifications

CPA license required.
10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
Proven track record in leadership and team development.
Extensive experience with high-level client advisory and tax planning.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
