Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cisco network engineering and a strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. The Senior Network Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any network-related issues and providing technical support to our team.Key
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex network solutions using Cisco technologies
- Configure and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise- Ensure network security by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new network architectures
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers- Keep accurate documentation of network configurations and changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco technologies
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, including routing, switching, and network protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Fortinet technologies
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCDA, CCSP, CCVP) highly preferred- Experience with VoIP and QoS implementation
- Proven ability to design and implement complex network solutions- Knowledge of network security best practices and experience implementing them
