Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on the restaurant and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Handled inventory reporting and COGS processess
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Experience in the restaurant or retail industry is preferred
Proficiency in ERP software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
