Senior Accountant
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role will contribute to the overall financial strategy of the company and support various departments with financial insights and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed audits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee tax preparation and ensure timely filing of all tax documents.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to assist in strategic decision making.
- Conduct reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and ERP systems to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in management accounting tasks, providing insights to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on senior or management roles.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and auditing standards.
- Experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Proficient in budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
