Director of Information Technology

Position Overview
The Director of Information Technology will lead the strategic planning and implementation of IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organizations goals. This role will oversee the development and management of technology systems, enhance operational effectiveness, and drive innovation to support the manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
Oversee the management and integration of MRP and ERP systems to improve manufacturing operations.
Lead technology implementation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
Manage hardware and software resources, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address technology needs.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within IT, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of MRP, ERP, and technology strategy development and execution.
Experience with software and hardware implementation and management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
