We are a Design/Build firm specializing in financial institution facilities. We have an immediate job opening for a qualified Construction Staff Accountant for our office in Cincinnati, OH.
Role Description
The construction accountant will perform specialized construction accounting, job costing and financial reporting tasks for the company under the supervision of the Corporate Controller. This position will develop an understanding of contracts in process and work independently to properly classify, record, and maintain records of project revenue and expenses. This position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions, applying generally accepted accounting principles to prepare accurate and timely records and ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained. The candidate will work to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in dealing with financial data. The Staff Accountant will be able to communicate with a variety of personalities to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients and vendors.
